about

A buzzy, lo-fi, textual yet hazy, minimal ambient score for the sci-fi / drama short film “Jim of Earth”.

Thanks to the writer/director Justin Arwood for the encouragement, open mindedness and invitation to be involved with such a great, unique project.

This EP is dedicated to my lifelong creative partner in music: Nick DeMello who’s untimely passing occurred during the making of this record. As much as I’d like to say the drama of the scenes were the full inspiration of these sessions, Nick’s passing indirectly influenced the score in profound ways that I believe can be heard on the final product.
Thanks to him for the years of friendship, support, memories and music. I’m sorry for the last few years of silence, rest well Nick.
